Art is the impulse to create meaning through images, symbols, ideas, and structures that allows people to understand themselves and others. Religion provides a structure of external signs that provide meaning to its followers in order for them to comprehend the meaning of their current worldly life. Both meaning structures include some form of ceremony or ritual. They provide an archetypal hierarchy that propels man toward transcendence, revelation, or at the very least abstract comprehension.

People are also mirrored back to each other in this vibrant world of visual arts because art teaches people the value of beauty and worth in their lives.

I often took long breaks between working on art for the sake of digesting what I had already deciphered.
